DOUGLAS MISSES BANK HOLIDAY DOUBLE

Monday August 29, 2022
HEAT-LEADER Ryan Douglas has been ruled out of Wolverhampton’s Bank Holiday Monday double against Belle Vue.

The Aussie crashed out of last Wednesday’s Championship League Riders’ Final and aggravated a shoulder injury.

Despite some intensive physiotherapy in Poland, he missed fixtures on his schedule over the weekend and will now also miss the Parrys International Wolves’ two Premiership clashes against the Aces.

Rider replacement will now operate with everyone except skipper Sam Masters eligible to cover Douglas’ four programmed outings.

A reminder that the Parrys International Wolves head to Manchester at 12 noon before hosting the Aces at Monmore Green at the slightly later start time of 8pm (gates 7pm).

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas R/R, Nick Morris, Drew Kemp, Leon Flint.

BELLE VUE: Matej Zagar, Tom Brennan, Brady Kurtz, Charles Wright, Max Fricke, Jye Etheridge, Norick Blodorn.
