SHEFFIELD have postponed tonight's (Thursday's) Premiership Pairs round at Owlerton.

Regular heavy rain showers have hit the region over the past 72-hours leaving plenty of track work to be done - and with more heavy rain forecast from early evening and thunderstorms also anticipated, Tigers bosses have called the fixture off early to minimise inconvenience for all involved.

A new date for the event is to be discussed.

The Parrys International Wolves host the South Yorkshire side at Monmore Green on Monday (August 22, 7.30) with both sides aiming to consolidate their place in the top four.
