WOLVERHAMPTON skipper Rory Schlein is bringing in the cream of British youngsters for his farewell meeting next week.

Schlein will bring the curtain down on a glittering career lasting over 20 years on an emotional night at Monmore Green on Monday October 18.

And Tom Brennan, Drew Kemp and Anders Rowe, who have all benefitted from Schlein’s coaching with the ‘No Limits’ project he has worked on, will all feature.

Former Grand Prix stars Scott Nicholls, Hans Andersen, Jason Doyle, Jason Crump and Chris Harris are all included having rubbed handlebars with Schlein down the years.

“It’s been hard work piecing the line-up together but it’s been fun,” he said. “I’m happy with it, I’ve got guys who all love racing and all said yes at the drop of a hat which was great.

“I just want the fans to come along and enjoy the occasion.”

Wolverhampton have put tickets on sale for the event on their own website for fans to buy one even if they can’t attend as a way of showing their support to a fine servant to British Speedway down the years.

A special souvenir programme will also be produced for the occasion and this will be available to order online also for those unable to attend.
