WOLVERHAMPTON youngster Leon Flint is feeling the love from Monmore fans!

Flint lines up again for the club in tomorrow’s vital top of the table clash with Peterborough.

If Wolverhampton win they will secure top spot at the end of the regular season and will have choice of opponents in the play-offs.

Berwick-born Flint, who also races for his local club at Second Division level, says the fans are making his time in the West Midlands special.

“I love everything at Berwick but I’ve never felt the love like I have here at Wolverhampton,” he said.

“Just how much they’re getting behind me, it makes those wins and paid wins and good results even more special.

“Right now I don’t even feel like I’m doing it for me, I feel like I’m doing it for them.

“They can see that I’m trying my hardest and that’s all I can really do.

“But my results are starting to show; I’ve been alright away from home but this is where it matters in a way.

“My biggest thing here is trying to ride that inside line.

“I’ve been brought up on Berwick’s big fast track with all that banking etc, it’s just finding my feet here.

“But I’m starting to ride it a bit better week-by-week and that’s good just in time for all the important stuff.

“The whole atmosphere we’ve got here is amazing; all the boys get on with each other, we have a good crack and we’re all very determined to bring another title back here to Monmore Green.”
