AUSTRALIAN ace Ryan Douglas is urging Wolverhampton fans to once again turn out in force tonight at Monmore (7.30).

They face King’s Lynn as the push for top spot heading into the Premiership play-offs continues for the Parrys International Wolves.

Douglas is promoted back into the main body of the team from reserve after a stunning run of form.

And he says the atmosphere within the camp is enjoyable and the fans made a big difference against Belle Vue last Monday.

“I’m enjoying the team atmosphere at Wolves especially because we’ve got a lot of Aussies so we just bounce off and help each other,” he said. “Pete (Adams) as team manager is good and he is a great bloke to ride under because he always encourages you, pushing you to do better.

“We had a great crowd on Monday night and for us as riders, it’s definitely a lot more enjoyable riding in front of a big crowd.

“Monmore is proving to be a fortress and we definitely want to keep that going because we’re unbeaten there this year with riders like Sam (Masters), Luke Becker and even Nick (Morris) are hard to beat around there.

“This year Sam is on another level and he doesn’t drop many points around anywhere so it’s awesome to have him at No.1 for Wolves and it sets an example for the rest of us which gives you a bit of confidence when you can go out there knowing he’s won Heat 1.”

Nick Morris faces a late fitness test on his leg injury but is eligible to return having served his nine-day absence for concussion.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Broc Nicol, Leon Flint.
