WOLVERHAMPTON skipper Rory Schlein is stepping up plans for his farewell meeting on October 18.
Schlein is heading back to Australia after a glittering career but he wants to bring the curtain down in style with a high quality night of racing at Monmore.
He's already in talks with some big name riders and is hoping to unveil the first names this week.
Before then, however, Parrys International Wolves head to Peterborough tomorrow for a Premiership crunch clash between the top two in the league.
Schlein's side have won nine successive meetings after Thursday's stunning win at Ipswich.
And Schlein said: "We can't take our foot off the gas now, we've got to keep going.
"All the boys are doing great and we just know we have to keep going and scoring the points to finish top of the table."
They return to Monmore Green for the first time in three weeks next Monday, August 30, for the traditional Bank Holiday meeting with Belle Vue (8pm).
It's likely to attract the biggest crowd of the season with plenty of Belle Vue fans making the journey south after the teams meet in Manchester at midday as the first part of a double header.
