WOLVERHAMPTON racer Nick Morris has revealed how racing with one of his best mates is bringing out the best in him.

Morris and his Parrys International Wolves colleagues finally make their Premiership return at home to the high flying Witches of Ipswich tonight (7.30).

And Morris believes his partnership with Ryan Douglas will only help him going forward for the rest of the season.

“Dougy is in great form and has been all summer back in Aussie,” he said. “He’s one of my best mates too, we live close to each other back in Australia and we get on great.

“It’s a pleasure to ride alongside him in the same team and hopefully we can get some good points together against Ipswich.

We’ve got a good team here at Wolverhampton and our win at King’s Lynn on Thursday was a great start to the league season for us.

“Now we’ve got to try and build on that with three points against Ipswich and I can’t wait to go racing in front of our own fans again.”

American ace Broc Nicol makes his home debut for Wolverhampton after impressing in the win at Lynn.

Ipswich include legendary triple World Champion Jason Crump who has made a successful return to the sport after retiring a decade ago.

Former British champion Danny King is the Witches’ skipper and at reserve they have Anders Rowe and Drew Kemp, two of Britain’s highly rated prospects for the future.

The meeting is all-ticket with Monmore continuing to operate to a severely reduced capacity for the time being.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Luke Becker, Nick Morris, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Broc Nicol, Tom Bacon.
