WOLVERHAMPTON make their belated return to Monmore Green on Monday – and Aussie ace Nick Morris can’t wait.

Morris was in fine form at King’s Lynn on Thursday in the big win for Wolves and he’s looking for more of the same against an in-form Ipswich.

The Witches are the early league leaders and will present a strong challenge for the Monmore men.

Said Morris: “I’m feeling better after being back on the bike and getting rid of of the cobwebs.

“King’s Lynn wasn’t easy because the track was grippy and tricky but we went there and got the job done and we have to be happy with that.

“Now we have to get back to Monmore and add three more points against Ipswich. It’s going to be great to be in front of the Wolverhampton fans again, I missed them all last year that’s for sure.

“We’ve got to try and take our form from Thursday into Monday night and hopefully that will get us into a good position.”

Morris admits the return of Jason Crump to British racing after a decade out of the sport has raised a few eyebrows.

The triple World Champion notched 13-points in the Witches’ win over Sheffield on Thursday.

Morris said: “Crumpie is a legend, it’s great to see him back. I’m looking forward to racing against him, it should be a challenge.

“But the biggest thing for me is seeing all the Wolves fans again. I can’t wait.”
