BRITISH youngster Luke Harrison will become the Parrys International Wolves club mascot for the 2020 season.

The 12-year-old 250cc racer is a member of the GB Youth squad and has past experience racing at Monmore during bank holiday meetings alongside his fellow young Brits.

Harrison, who is currently based in Scunthorpe, has expressed his love for the circuit and had no hesitation in accepting the invitation despite the long commute each Monday.

His father Andy said: “Luke is excited for the opportunity to represent such a big club.

“He has ridden there on three occasions with the Young Lions and has enjoyed it every time as it’s always well prepared.

“His ambition for this year being his first on the 250cc is to do well in the British Youth Championship and get some more experience riding abroad.

“My hope is that he continues to enjoy himself whilst making progress as the year goes on. As a team we are treating this season as a development year and not setting any major goals.

“After winning so much in 2019 it’s going to be a tough act to follow.”

On opening night (Monday March 30), the Monmore Open (7.30) will include a series of races for Harrison against his fellow British youngsters.
