HE’S coming home – that’s top Speedway track curator Terry Chrabaszcz.

‘Terry Track’ is returning to Wolverhampton’s Monmore Green to take over the preparation of the circuit for the new Premiership season.

He takes over from Alan ‘Doc’ Bridgett, the man he learnt his trade from, before heading to other circuits like Stoke and Coventry.

Parrys International Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “We are fortunate to have wonderful track staff here at Monmore Green and with ‘Doc’ unable to fulfil his duties as he would like to, it’s great to welcome Terry back.

“Terry knows the club and the track inside out and he will always be at home here. He did some wonderful work at Stoke to transform the surface there before Loomer Road’s closure.

“Everything about this move feels right. ‘Doc’ is always on the end of the phone to offer help and advice which is good for us and Terry to know.

“’Terry Track’ is how he has always been known – and always will be – and it’s great to welcome him home.”
