WOLVERHAMPTON’S Premiership Speedway riders are itching to get started.

The bikes will roar for the first time this year at Monmore Green this Monday, April 1 – and it’s no joke!

New signings Nick Morris and Scott Nicholls have already had laps elsewhere but press and practice will be the first time the 2019 Parrys International Wolves have come together.

They’ll meet the media in the restaurant area from 5.30 before taking to the track and the public can gain entry at 6.15 with a donation on the gate.

The following night they’ll be back again in the lower bar area for the popular pre-season talk-in alongside club bosses.

Kyle Howarth, who is back with the team for another season, said: “I’ve already had some meetings elsewhere but it’s going to be great to get the lads together at Wolves.

“The team looks good and we’re really itching to get going now, it’s a bit later this year for us to start the season and it seems to have made us and the fans even more eager!”

Wolverhampton open their home season against newly promoted Peterborough on Monday April 8 in the Premiership Supporters Cup – but first they head to Birmingham for David Mason’s Farewell meeting on Wednesday, April 3.
