JACOB Thorssell will be back with Wolverhampton for an eighth successive season in 2019.

The Swedish star becomes the sixth signing for the Parrys International Wolves who now have just one team spot left to fill.

And Thorssell, who tasted League glory with the club in 2016, is delighted to ‘be back home.’

“I’m really glad I am back because Wolves is a very, very good club and that’s why I’ve been there for so long now,” Thorssell said.

“You never have any worries or any problems and as a rider that’s very important as it means you can turn up to each meeting and just get on with your racing without having to ask any questions.

“The club means so much to me because every year they show they have faith in me and every year that makes me want to make it up to them.

“This year’s team is one that should work both on the track and off it as well and if everything clicks the way we think it will, then I think this can be a very good season for Wolverhampton.”
